Pacman Nails ! (:

 What you need:
~ Nail Polishes- (Black, white, yellow, dark blue, pink, light blue, red, and green.)
~ Index card
~Toothpick      
~Patience.

1. Start with all black nails.
(This totally isn't my picture, but I forgot to take one of step one...)

















 2. Put a little drop of yellow on your index card.
Now, with your toothpick, draw a tiny little pacman on your thumb. Make sure that as you dip your toothpick, you clean it off every time. I usually just wipe it on my palms.If the polish on your card starts to dry, make another drop. Semi-dry nail polish ruins the whole thing.

3. Repeat the dropping process, except this time with dark blue. Draw some lines. You can copy my line pattern, google pacman, or just get creative. You need room for your ghosts and cherries though so don't make too many lines.

4. Now comes the ghosts.Make a long blob of pink, and get your toothpick and make 2 tiny plack dots on the bottom of it. That way it looks like the pacman ghost. Do the same for the blue. You can google pacman ghosts if you are confused on how they look. After making the body, drop a small blob of white and black on your card, dip your toothpick in the white, make the eyes, and then do the same for the black to make pupils.

5. Cherries! Drop a blob of white on your card, dip the toothpick, and make two white dots. Draw 2 lines that connect on top, that is your stem.

 6. Do the blob method for your red and green. Repeat step 5, except this time with the actual colors. KEEP CLEANING YOUR TOOTHPICK!!!!!!!

7. Do blob method and fill in extra spaces with white dots. Now you have pacman nails (:

Newspaper Nails

Materials:

Nail Polish Remover

Rubbing Alcohol

Cotton Balls/Q-Tips

Pieces of Newspaper large enough to fit nail

Nail Polish (I use white, but you can use any color)

First:

Take the nail polish remover and clean off your nails. Even if you did not have polish on beforehand, this is necessary because the newspaper will not stick properly if your nails are not completely clean.

Second:

Now you are going to paint your nails. I use white nail polsih, because I actually want my nails to look like a newpaper. I have talked to friends after I told them how to do this, who have used pinks and other colors, and were not as pleased with the final product. I suggest white. As a side note, I used NYC Long Wearing polish. This company makes the crappiest products ever. They are really cheap, (which is why I bough them), but the results you get are equally cheap. Anyways, you just paint you nails like you would any other time.

Third:

After your nails dry, pour the rubbing alcohol into something that can fit your entire nail.  Here, I used a small container, but generally if I can't find one, I just use the cap on the nail polish remover. It works awesomely. The rubbing alcohol you use does not matter. I am using dollar tree rubbing alcohol here.

 Fourth:
While the nail is still wet from the rubbing alcohol, stick a piece of newspaper over it. Immediately after doing that, soak a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and push it lightly over your nail while the newspaper is still on it. Remove the cottonball, and push hard with your finger for 10 seconds. Repeat this process for all nails.

Lastly:
Dampen the newspaper pieces again with the cotton ball, and gently remove from the nail.You are most likely going to have a remnant of newspaper on your skin but if you get a Q-Tip and dip it in nail polish remover and glide it over skin, then it will come off. Or it will wash off on its own. Simply seal it with a clear coat, and BAM! You've got nails that everyone will be amazed by (:
